GelTech Drives Growth in FireIce Wildland Fire Program

GelTech Solutions, Inc. (otcqb:GLTC) announces the growing acceptance of FireIce by wildland firefighting agencies with pilot programs planned, underway, or completed in conjunction with seven US state agencies, two federal agencies, one Canadian province, and one Australian state. In the US, the states are located throughout the western, southern, central, and northern regions encompassing the spectrum of North American forest types where wildfires frequently occur.
Initial pilot programs began in fall 2013 through spring 2014, with additional programs planned to come online throughout the summer. FireIce has been successful in several extensive comparative evaluations, designed by agencies to test capabilities of fire chemicals under the most challenging conditions. FireIce has been effectively used in multiple aircraft platforms, and FireIce was credited in containing numerous wildfires on the East Coast this spring. Multiple agencies are also evaluating the product as a tool to support ground engine operations. GelTech is working closely with many of the existing aerial and ground support vendors in an effort to streamline operations for agencies.
